Proclamation of 1763
This prevented any colonists from expanding east of the Appalachian Mountains. The colonists were outraged because they thought that they earned that land, and they thought this was England trying to control them. This act required all legal documents and other objects like playing cards or dice to have an official stamp purchased from the British government. Quartering Act

Townshend Acts
All of the Townshend Acts were passed during 1767. They put taxes on many imported goods including tea, and also shut down New York legislature.
