This city was made to be the new capital of the Roman Empire by Constantine the Great. It grew as a Muslim capital during the Ottoman period, but later became influenced by Christianity. -

Fall of Rome
Attila and his Huns started to press on Germanic tribes, This caused them to then press on the Roman Empire, The Germanic tribes had no other place to flee away from the Huns, so they fled to the Roman Empire. The Visigoths then attacked Rome in 410 CE. By 476 the western empire was deplenished and the western half would survive under a new name, the Byzantine Empire. -

Columbus' First Voyage
On this date Columbus started his voyage from Palos, Spain. He then landed on an island in the Bahamas on October 12. He then named this island San Salvador before exploing the other islands of the Bahamas. Next he landed in Cuba on October 28. After he left Cuba he landed on Hispaniola on December 25. He then returned back to Spain on the 6th of January. -

The Opium Wars were divided into two seperate wars. These were the heights of trade disputes between China and the British Empire. -

This was the first global war that lasted for four years. It was centered in Europe and was fought between two major groups: the Allies and the Central Powers. -

Nelson served as president in South Africa from 1994-1999. He was also an anti-apartheid revolutionary. -
Ottoman Collapse
This date ended the fighting between the Allies and the Ottoman Empire, but did not leave the empire stable. This then started the decline of the empire. -

This was an anti-imperialistic movement made by students demonstrations in Beijing. -

This was used as one of the peace treaties between Germany and the Allies at the end of World War 1. -

WWII was anothers global war that followed WWI. It lasted six years and was fought between two major forces: the Allies and the Axis. -

The attack on Pearl Harbor was a surprise attack on the US naval base in Hawaii by the Japanese military. -

The war started with the invasion of 75,000 soldiers of the North Korean Peoples's Army across the 38th parallel. By July of this year, the US was already there to help South Korea. -
Vietnam War
This war was between North Vietnam and South Vietnam and the US. Over 3 million people were killed throughout this war. Over half of them were vietnam citizens. -
Six Day War
This war was a defensive movement by the Israelis against Sryia, Jordan, and Egypt. -
Persian Gulf War
This war started with Operation Desert Storm. After 42 days of war, President George HW. Bush declared to seize fire. -

These attacks on the World Trade Centers of the US were made by al-Qaeda, and Islamic terrorist group. -
AP World History Test
This test was the ultimate challenge completed by the students of Mr. McDivitts history class at Oak Hill High School. All of these students have been overwelmed with joy as the realization of no more lecture notes kicked in. Now these students will be praying for the results that will come of their test taking.
