Why did Germany recover so quickly when Hitler became chancellor was that several work programmes started by some previous government made a fruition, rearmament on a massive scale, huge investment in producing synthetic materials, above all, oil, rubber, and substitute metals. -

This event is important because it official started WWII and it violated the Munich Agreement which allowed Hitler to annex on Sudetenland Czechoslvakia which he did. -

France Surrendered because they wanted to save the Eiffel Tower!
It really was not France that surrendered it was the leader of the French who surrendered. During the war they had an exceptionally strong Underground Resistance and the Free French in Britain helped to win WWII. -
The Holocaust
The Holocaust made by Adolf Hitler was a camp made for Jews to work all day then they would put then in this room and poor gas inside. Did you know 1.5 million Jews children where killed there and some where not even Jews. From 1941-1945 all those Jews where killed there and that was only the children and I know no one will forget this mass murder by Adolf Hitler and The Holocaust. -

The Cold War was a war that both sides where both powerful. The date this event happened and end was 1946-1991 the event had started by the cues of that the Soviet Union that was controlled the countries it freed in WWll and the U.S. spoke to them about it and that's how the cold war started.
