The Tragedy of Romeo and Juliet

  • Sunday

    There is a fight between the Capulets and Montigues. Romeo is lovesick for Rosaline. The Montigues attend the Capulet party in disguise, and Romeo sees Juliet, and falls in love. They meet, and learn that thier families are rivals.
  • Monday

    Plans are made for Romeo and Juliet's wedding, and they are wed. Later, Romeo and Benvolio meet Tybalt, and Benvolio is slain by Tybalt. Romeo avenges his death, killing Tybalt. Romeo is banished. Capulet is unaware of the wedding of Romeo and Juliet, and arrages for Juliet to marry Paris.
  • Tuesday

    Romeo leaves Verona after spending one more night with Juliet. Juliet refuses her father's wish that she marry Paris, and she would rather commit suicide than betray Romeo. Juliet talks to Friar Laurence, and he suggests she drink a fake death potion, allowing her to escape to Romeo. Juliet "Agrees" to marry Paris, and Capulet moves the wedding up to Wednesday. Juliet drinks the potion at night. It is almost time for the wedding in the morning.
  • Wednesday

    The nurse discovers the "dead" Juliet when she is sent to get her for the wedding. Juliet's parents find out, and the wedding preperations are changed to a funeral. Romeo learns of her death as well, and the friar's letter did not reach him. He plans to go back to Verona to see her dead body, then commit suicide.
  • Thursday

    Romeo opens the tomb of Juliet just as Paris arrives to spread flowers on her grave. They fight, and Paris is slain. Romeo sees Juliet's body, and drinks the poison he bought. Juliet wakes up after he is dead, and stabs herself because Romeo is dead, and there is no poison left. The tragedy ends with the two families making peace.
