"JFK" was the 35th President of the United States of America. He served as president for 2 years until he was assassintated in Dallas, Texas on 22nd of November in 1963 by Lee Harvey Oswaald. Though Kennedy didn't serve as president as long as he may have wanted to, he still accomplished a lot while he was president; Kennedy kept the USA from World War 3. -

The Truman Doctrine was said by president Harry Truman, stating that the United States would be there for it's allies if they are in trouble with other countries. -
The Vietnam War
The war between United States w/ South Vietnam and the North Vietnamese army w/ the Viet Cong. The war lasted for over a decade. The war all started because North Vietnam which was communist, wanted to take control over South Vietnam which wasn't communist. In the end, South Vietnam was Communist. America won the battle, but lost the war. -

U-2 Spyplane Incident
A spyplane was caught in the Soviet Airspace. It was shot down immediately. The driver of the plane died in the plane once it was shot. Kennedy dogded a bullet because the Soviets could of declared war on us for spying on them. -
The Vienna Summit
The meeting was between President John F. Kennedy and Premier Nikita Krushchev. The meeting was scheduled by JFK. He wanted to meet Nikita and just get know him as an individual person. Kennedy knew that the meeting didn't go well. Krushchev was forcing things upon Kennedy to see what his reaction would be. Days after the meeting the two men worked on projects that came to mind. Kennedy worked on building up the United States Military, while Krushchev worked on getting the Berlin Wall up. -
Berlin Wall (The Building Of)
The Berlin Wall was built to keep the East Germans (communist) from the West Germans (non-communist.) Several people from the East tried to escape from their and go into the free. The Berlin Wall was ordered to be constructed by Nikita Khruschev days later after having a meeting with President John F. Kennedy. -
Bay of Pigs Invasion
Kennedy had a plane to overthrow Castro so they could get rid of Communism. The plan was a total failure from the start. The government trained ex- Cubans as soldiers to go into Cuba and overthrow their country and take it back. -
Kennedy Assassination
John F. Kennedy was shot 2 twice the last shot killed him. He was shot by Lee Harvey Oswald . Three shots were heard, but two hit Kennedy. -
The Fall of the Berlin War
The wall came down to increase freedom for the other side. Several protests broke speaking against the wall. Gunter Schabowski announced that the wall was coming down.
