    First Day of The War
    The Israeli military struck first in the war knowing if they waited for the Arabs to attack, their country would be at great danger. The Israeli Military did airstrikes on Egypt, the Sinai Desert, Syria, Iraq, and Jordan. In four hours, Israel destroyed nearly 2/3 of the Egyptian air force. Egypt told Jordan not to attack Israel because they had success in attacks against Israel. After noticing that Egypt lied, they offered to join forces with Israel again and bombed several places in Israel.
  • Second Day of The War

    Second Day of The War
    After Israel carried out this large attack on the enemies. Egyptian forces were coming to attack Israel. Israel faced that attack and defeated them and swooped through the Sinai Desert. Once Egypt noticed how much they got defeated this far and ordered a retreat. Most of the Sinai Desert was taken over by Israel. Israel captured an important landmark which was once theirs.

    Second Day of The War Continued
    At an emergency meeting at the United Nations, Israel's prime minister met with the Soviets who were trying to make peace for the Arabs. In order to secure peace Israel would have to stop all military operations, Israel had to turn down because they were still being attacked by enemy forces.
  • Third Day of The War

    Third Day of The War
    Before the war, Jordan had control over several of Israel's special landmarks, including the Temple Mount, the Mount of Olives cemetery, and several synagogues. Jordanian people vandalized the Jewish people's oldest and most holy cemetery and destroyed several synagogues. The battle carried on until the Israeli's announced that they had the temple in their hands. Israel regained several holy sites. For the first time in 19 years, the Jews could pray at the West Wall.
  • Fourth Day of The War

    Fourth Day of The War
    Over the first 3 days, Israel took out Egypt in the south and Jordan in the east. On the 4th day, Israel accidentally bombed the USS Liberty, which was mistaken as an enemy ship. They were immediately apologetic. Before the Israeli army took over the West Bank, the width of the shortest part of Israel was only 9 miles wide, leaving them defenseless and the coastal cities in danger. Once they took over the West Bank, they grew to 44 miles at their shortest point and were able to be defended.
  • Fifth Day of The War

    Fifth Day of The War
    After Egypt was falsely reporting about beating Israel, Egypt's president, Nasser told the truth. After telling the people that he had lost he resigned from his presidency. Nasser declared that the British and US helped Israel, that claim was false. Several Egyptians supported the claim and Nasser immediately took back his presidency. Israel now moved to the north. Israeli forces moved to the Golan Heights but could not yet occupy up top.
  • Sixth and Final Day of The War

    Sixth and Final Day of The War
    Now, the Israeli forces decided to try and up take the high ground. The Syrian army was not there when the Israeli's had got up there. When Israel saw the last Syrian stronghold, Qunietra, was defeated and Israel officially took over the Golan Heights. The war was now over. The Arab defeat was fatal. The Arab countries were humiliated and angry, the Israeli's established their self as the dominant military. For the first time Israel had a larger amount of land, it could be reasonably defended.
