The Shang Dynasty
The Shang dynasty started in the 1600s (BCE), The Shang people were extraordinary metal workers. The main things they made with bronze are pots, vessels, goblets, weapons, etc. The Shang Dynasty was also one of the first to believe in animism; the belief in spirits and the worship to ancestors.

The Zhou Dynasty
The Zhou Dynasty marked the start of the dynamic era in Chinese history. The Zhou was one of the three of Qin and Han who together were one of the longest lasting and powerful dynasties. The Zhou was the first dynasty to have texts recorded and found today on oracle bones. Many other rulers from outside the dynasty attacked because of how much power was maintained.

The invention of calligraphy
Calligraphy was invented around 600-500 BC. The art of calligraphy was used for writing and painting. Calligraphy made writing a lot easier because it enabled the China people to write more efficiently and faster. -

Buddhism, a very big belief in Chinese history that has impacted the life of China in the Han Dynasty and still today. Buddhism was turned to after the fall of Han because of the sense of peace and safety. Buddhism is the belief of life after death, karma, and rebirth. -

Confucianism
Confucianism, created by Confucius had the biggest impact on Chinese than any other philosophy. Confucianism taught the importance of family, the respect for elders, and the reverence for the past and one's ancestors. Started the worship of ancestors. -

The Qin Dynasty guarded against invaders by building a wall in certain places than later added on by other dynasties forming what we now have today. -

Legalism (475 BCE- 221 BCE), school of Chinese philosophy gained importance during the turbulent warring states era and influenced by . Legalism is the philosophy or belief that humans are more inclined to do wrong more than right. -

Daoism
Daoism also known as Taoism, is the belief of balance that influenced China for around 2,000 years. The yin yang is the symbol of Taoism. The yin yang symbol has two sides that are the opposites that balance each other for example dark/light, bad/good, wet/dry, winter/summer, male/female, etc. -

The invention of paper
Before the invention of paper Chinese people wrote on bone or silk, which was very expensive causing the China people to want to invent something more simple. The invention of paper helped China by making the process of making it more simple, bettering the environment, and way less expense. -

The silk road
A trade route that played a big role in China during the Han Dynasty. This trading route allowed the camel caravans to carry there silk, jade, and other valuable products and helped the military gain supply. The route supplied them with gold, wool, silver, etc. helping them gain importance. (date unknown) -
