    The creation of sugar act was created after the FNW (french Indian war),The tension between the British and the colonist British were cranking down on colonial smuggling this was to keep merchants from doing business in french held areas. the governor of Massachusetts used the writes of assistance this let solders warrant to search colonial ships or buildings that may hold smuggled goods. What the sugar act did was tax merchant or colonials on sugar,tea,indigo .

    the stamp act was set by the parliament to tax all american colonial had to pay the tax on every paper they used like newspapers, cards letters anything made of paper with the stamp. this directly affected the colonial ,the people who were heavily affected by this act were shopkeepers, artisans ,labors how the colonial reacted to this was by boycotting the whole thing then went to protesting to riots.
