the stamp act was set by the parliament to tax all american colonial had to pay the tax on every paper they used like newspapers, cards letters anything made of paper with the stamp. this directly affected the colonial ,the people who were heavily affected by this act were shopkeepers, artisans ,labors how the colonial reacted to this was by boycotting the whole thing then went to protesting to riots. -
