Proclamaion of 1763
historyAt the end of the French and Indian War, the British issued a proclamation mainly intended to conciliate the Indians by checking the inroachment of settlers on their lands. In the centuries since the proclamation is becoming one of the cornerstones of Native American law in the US and Canada.
This led to the American Revolution because it would have made the indians mad that the government would not let them settle on the settlers land. -
Stamp Act
History
This was the first internal tax levied directly on the American colonists by the British governments. It came at a time when the British Empire was deeply in debt from the 7 years war. It looked to the North American colonies for revenue.
This would have led to the AR because the people might have disagreed with the taxes that they had to pay and they had to pay it becuase of the British. -
Townshend Act
historyThe Townshend Acts were a series of measures introduced into Parliament by Chancellor of the Exchequer Charles Townshend in 1767. The acts included glass, lead, paints, paper, and tea imported into the colonies that created a Board of Customs Commissioners to enforce customs laws without the accused having recourse to a trial by jury.
This might have led to the AR because the people may have disagreed with the imports or that they recieved. -

Boston Massacre

Patriot leaders suddenly aroused public threats and violent retaliation. This pressure caused Governer George Thomas Hutchinson to send a troop to the harbor. So, a they went to "solve" the problem and started shooting.
Other people may have been angry with the shooting that the government did, so they may have set out to seek revenge and start the AR. -
Tea Act
history
The tea act took place when the British was highly in debt, in the decade leading up to the years of war. The acts main purpose was to bail out the floudering East India Company.The ritish government granted the company a monopoly on the imports and sale of tea in the 13 colonies. But, the colonists had never accepted the constitutionality of the duty on tea, and the Tea Act proved their opposition to it.
The oppostition may have started the AR. -
Boston Tea Party
history
It took place when a group of Massachusetts Patriots, protesting the monopoly on American tea imports recently granted by Parliament to the East India Company, seized 342 chests of tea in a midnight raid of three tea ships and threw them into the harbor.
The officials may have wanted to get back at the people who were involved in the tea party and start the AR. -
Intolerable Acts

Intolerable Acts, also known as Coercive Acts are the titles referring to the laws that the British Parliament passed in 1774. These laws had to do with the British colonies in North America. The acts helped to enrage the colonies. However, at that time they were very much a part of the ongoing uprising of what was the American Revolution. -
Battle at Lexington and Concord
historyOn this night, hundreds of British troops marched from Boston to Concord to their weapons. Several riders, including Paul Revere sounded the alarm and colonial militiamen began to act. The fighting started inexington and soon the British were retreating. In 1783, they finally won their independence.
People might have been influenced others to start the AR by this event. -
Declaration of Independence

When the Revolutionary War was in full swing, there became an issue, so five men including Benjamen Franklin, John Adams, and Thomas Jefferson were tasked to draft a formal statement of the 13 colonies' intentions. We now celebrate July 4 as the birth of American Independence.
People might have been opposed to these rules and started the AR.
