Because of the war Briatain is in a great debt. Britain wants the colonist to pay to but they said no. -
Proclamation of 1763
Was about forbidding the colonists to settle in the Appalachi mountains.This event led to the Road of Revolution because the colonist didn't like that and they were angry with that rule so they were enforcing the proclamation. -
Sugar Act
An external tax on sugar and molasses -
Quartering Act
Colonists could be required to house and feed troops. -
Stamp Act
Required all legal and commercial documents to carry an official stamp showing that a tax had been paid. This led to the Road of Revolution because the colonsits though this wasn't fair so they started to protest. -
Parliament repeals the stamp act
Parliament repeals the stamp act but passes the Declaratory Act granting Parliament to govern the colonies.
