The Proclomation of 1763
The Proclomation of 1763 was a law passed by the British govorment restricting any settlements west of the Appalachin Mountains. Any People that were already settled there had to come back east. This made people mad because they were told to move there in the first place. -
The Sugar Act
The Sugar Act is when the British put a higher tax on all imported goods, such as sugar. This tax profited the West Indian Spice Company because 25% of tax collected went to them. -
The Currency Act
The currency act changed all colonial money into coins so that no fakes could be made by the colonies. -
The Committee of Correspondence
This helped spread propagunda throughout the colonies. This got loyalists to switch to patriots and go against the British. -
The Quartering Act
This forced the colonists to house the British soldiers stationed in the colonies during the war. -
The Sons and Daughters of Liberty
The sons and Daughters of Liberty were the rebellion against the British. -
Stamp Act
The Stamp Act was a tax on all imported goods in the colonies. -
Townshend Acts
The townshend acts were terrible laws that were made to keep people from smuggleing. -
Boston Massacre
The killing of Bostonian Colonia was by British troops in in Boston. The Bostonians blocked the way for British troops to move. -

A British Tax on all Imported Tea. -
Boston Tea Party
The violent Protest to the Tea Act. The colonists dressed up as indians and dumped tea in the boston harbour. -
Intolorable Acts
Laws & Acts put on colonist because of the Boston Tea Party. The boston Harbour closed. -
1st Cont. Congress
12 colonies met in Philadelphia this created the Boycottfor most British goods. -
Battle of Lexington and Concord
British troops were ordered to seize the stores of colonial gunpowder and to cspture Samual Adams & John Hancock. At Lexington 8 americans were killed. At Concord troops were forced to retreat with a loss of 10 men. 1st in stanse of open WARFARE !!! -
Bunker Hill
Major Victory for the colonists resulted in George lll proclaming colonies in a rebellion.
