Simón Bolivar known as ”The Liberator”, a venezuelan soldier was born July 24, 1783. He was the greatest military figure in South America. He then was part of a Hispanic Colonial Empire. -

Father and Mother
His father died in January 19, 1786. When Simon was 3 years old. mother died 6 years later in July 6, 1792. -
Wife
In 1801, he married Maria Rodriguez, the daughter of a spanish nobleman at the age of 18. He then took her back to Caracas. His wife died of the yellow fever no more than a year after their marriage. -
Coronation
In 1804 the Napoleon coronation for emperor of French was an remarkable performance. Bolivar's reactions to the coronation was respectful of the accomplishments of a single man and revulsion at Napoleon’s betrayal of the ideals. The desire for glory was one of the permanent traits in Bolívar’s character. -
Proclaim Independence
April 19 1810, Simon Bolivar joined the group of patriots that took possession of Caracas in Venezuela and proclaimed independence from Spain. Then the Spanish governor was officially uncapable of his powers. Bolivars was then sent on a mission to London to explain to England the dangers of the revolutionary colony. -
Speech
March 1811 a national congress met in Caracas to draft a constitution. Bolivar joined that debate and he declared to ““Let us lay the cornerstone of American freedom without fear. To hesitate is to perish.” -
President/dictator
In December 1819 Bolívar set out to complete his task. He Made his appearance before the congress that had assembled in Angostura. Bolívar was made president and military dictator. -
San Martin
July 26, 1822 San Martin and Bolivar in the port city of Ecuador. Their discussions are not known, but they guessed they covered completion of the military struggle in Peru. San Martín must have understood that Bolívar alone combined the military. -
First major battle
In 1824 he moved out from the capital in Trujillo, and went to the high Cordillera. The first major battle was easily won by Bolivar. Who then left the successful closing of the military operations to his able chief of staff. -
Death
Simon Bolivar died december 17 1830 at the age of 47 near Santa Marta, Columbia. He died of Tuberculosis. So he had to leave the government of this severe sickness
