    Water Frame.
    Richard Arkwright invented the water frame in 1769. The water frame was the first spinning machine that was powered by water and automatic. Businessmen began to see the benefit in making factories. The Water Frame was the first machine to be able to spin cotton into thread, and it made the process of producing clothing easier and encouraged more businessmen to build factories. which created jobs.

    The Spinning Mule
    Samuel Crompton invented the Spinning Mule in 1774. The Spinning Mule combined spinning and weaving into one machine. The Spinning Mule made it easier to make clothing- instead of having two machines you could just work with one. Factories replaced their spinning machines and weaving machine with just the Spinning Mule. That made mass producing goods even faster and cheaper than before.

    Before James Watt improved the steam engine in 1775, transportation of goods and people were done by horse and carriage or by boat. James Watt Improving the steam engine increased transportation and increased the use of trains. Railroads were expanded and eventally they were everywhere.

    Edmund Cartwright invented the Power Loom, which Replaced the flying shuttle. the Power Loom was powered by a line shaft. it was much faster than the flying shuttle, so factories began to replace the flying shuttle with the power loom. Which made mass production even faster.

    William Cockerill opened factories in Belguim to manufacture spinning and weaving machines in 1807. The factories made it easier to distribute the spinning and weaving machines, to any person or company who wanted it.

    George Stephen invented the locomotive in 1814. The locomotive was used to haul coal at the Killingworth mine. The locomotive increased transportation.

    The British government set up the General Board of Health to investigate sanitary conditions, setting up local boards to ensure safe water in cities. The General Board of health made it sanitary to live in cities, and made less people become very ill.

    Henry Bessemer developed the first process for manufacturing steel inexpensively. Steel HAs become big in building and making sure buildings are strong sturdy and withstanding. Railroads expanded due to the flexible and sturdy metal.

    Dynamite is an explosive made of nitroglycerin, sorbents, and stabilizers. Alfred Nobel invented dynamite in 1866. Dynamite had a huge impact on industrialization. They were able to expand railroads in places with mountains by blowing up the mountains and making a passageway through the mountains. Dynamite was used in coal mines and tearing down buildings.
