The people called the Mexicas move into this land, they called themselves the Mexicas before the Aztecs. When they were searching for a place to live, they saw a eagle sitting upon a cactus with a snake in its mouth. To them, this was a sign to build their city here. -

The Aztec built and created a beautiful, successful, and very advenced city. After the city was built, many people would come to live in it; as the population grew, the city had to expand. In the end, the city turned out as a very large and beautiful city, that some people had only dreams of living in. -

Montezuma I became the fifth ruler of the Aztec people in 1440, under his care, the city flourished and grew. He ruled for 25 years until he died in 1469. -

In 1486 after Montezuma I died, Ahuizota became ruler for 16 years. -

Montezuma II becomes the ruler of the Aztec, and the Aztec reach its highest point in empire. -
