    Anti-Jewish Boycott
    The Nazis start a boycott against Jewish-owned businesses. The Nazis said that Jews were spreading rumors to harm Germany's reputation. Nazi Storm Troopers stood in front of Jewish shops holding signs and yelling to not buy from the Jews. The boycott lasted for only one day and was ignored by most German citizens but it was the beginning of the campaign of the Nazi Party persecuting the Jews.

    Restoration of the Professional Civil Service
    The law for the Restoration of the Professional Civil Service was the first of the many anti-Semitic laws. This law put an end to employment rights of Jewish public servants. It also stopped non-Aryan Germans from having state jobs. It prevented Jews from working as judges, doctors, and lawyers.

    Prevention of Offspring with Hereditary Diseases
    This law decreed the forcing of sterilization to certain people with disabilities. This law gave way for the forcing sterilization of people with physical and mental disabilities. It also forced it on just people that were disliked.
  • Editors Law

    Editors Law
    The editors law banned anyone other than Aryans to work in journalism. The German propaganda Ministry took control of the Reich Association of the German Press. With that the Association let only racially pure editors and journalists, banning Jews. Those editors were not allowed to write about anything that showed weakness in the Reich.

    Nuremberg Race Laws
    On this day Reichstag passes the Nuremberg Laws. It contained two laws, the "Reich Citizenship Law and the Law for the Protection of German Blood and German Honor". They established most of the racial theories that consisted of the Nazis ideas. It identified Jews as people with three or more Jewish grandparents.
  • Anti-Jewish Laws in Hungary

    This is when Hungary takes in the anti-Jewish laws prohibiting the Jews from many things. These laws were formed after the image of the Nuremberg Laws. The laws banned interracial marriage between Jews and others. It also rejected Jews from participating in many lines of work.

    Alteration of Family and Personal Names
    This law ordered German Jews that have first names that are not Jewish to take a new name Israel for men and Sara for women. This was to separate the Jews from the rest of the German Population. The Jews were forced to carry I.D. cards that showed who they were.
  • Exclusion of Jews from German Economic Life

    Exclusion of Jews from German Economic Life
    On this day the German government decreed this rule. This banned the Jews from owning or working in retail stores and from working in a trade. This law also denied Jews from selling things at any establishment.
  • Utilization of Jewish Property

    This decree made aryanization of Jewish businesses forced. The Germans forced the Jews to sell property that could not be transported. They also forced them to sell their businesses, and stocks to people other than Jews at really low prices.
  • Death Penalty for Aiding Jews

    Death Penalty for Aiding Jews
    Jews that were in hiding and the people aiding them risked harsh punishment of found. These actions were seen as capital offenses and received severe discipline. On this day, German posters threatened death to anyone aiding Jews who were escaping from the Warsaw Ghetto.
