Gandhi leads Indian camapaign of civil disobedience
Gandhi first lead a boycott on clothing. He wanted independece for the Indians. The Indians fought for the British because the British said they would pay them back by giving them their independence. The British did not keep their word and the Indians were outraged. Gandhi lead with peace. He wanted all religions, and groups to come together. The most famous campaign he lead was the Salt March where the Indians did not buy any salt from the British and marched to the shore to make there own salt -

Mustafa Kemal was an Ottoman and Turkish army officer. He was given the name Ataturk which meant "Father of the Turks". He modernized their country. -

Mao Zedong was a communist leader. He lead the Long March. The Long March was when the nationalists forced the communists out and the communists escaped by going north in China.
