Last Sight of England
Three days after the ships leave Portsmouth, they have their last view of England on the 16th of May, before they set sail for roughly eight months. -
Reaches Canary Islands
The fleet arrives in Santa Cruz three weeks after leaving England. Whilst there they dock in Tenerife and take on fresh water and vegetables. -
Departs Canary Island
After seven days of being docked in Santa Cruz, the ships leave to continue their journey. -
Passes Cape Verde Islands
The fleet passes Cape Verde Islands but is unable to land. -
Crosses the Equator
After two months of travelling, the fleet crosses the equator. -
Reaches Islands at entrance to port of Rio De Janeiro
The fleet reaches the islands that mark the entrance to their next dock, Rio De Janeiro. -
Rio De Janiero
The fleet docks at Rio De Janeiro, to undergoe repairs and take on fresh water and vegetables. -
Departs Rio De Janeiro
Just under a month after docking in Rio De Janeiro, the fleet leaves to continue. -
Cape of Good Hope sighted
After five months into their journey, the ships first sight the Cape of Good Hope. -
Anchors in Table Bay, Cape Town for supplies
A day after being sighted, the fleet docks at Cape Trown to take on fresh supplies and livestock. -
Departs Table Day
After just under a month, the fleet departs once again. -

The HMS Supply and three other ships in the fleet sail on ahead and become an advanced party. -
Van Diemens Land
The fleet first sights Vadn Diemen's Land just after the new year. -
HMS Supply arrives in Botany Bay
The HMS Supply and the other ships that traveled ahead, arive at Botany Bay on the 18th of January. -
Entire fleet is now in Botany Bay
Almost two months after, the rest of the fleet is now in Botany Bay. -
Cptain Phillip and Captain Hunter go north to find a more suitable settlement site because of lack of fresh water
There is no fresh water near the bay they've docked in, and so Captain Aurhur Phillip and Captain Hunter search north for a more suitable settlement. -
Port Jackson
The entire fleet anchors in Port Jackson, where Captain Phillip goes ahead, and raises the flag.
