First battle of Fort Sumter
Fort Sumter was a sea fort in Charleston, South Carolina. Confederate soldiers attacked this fort and damaged it but no one on either side was hurt or killed. This would spark the Civil war. -

This battle was a ship battle, but these weren't wooden ships no these ships were made out of metal. Written By Abraham Lincoln and signed in January 1, 1863. It states it proclaimed the freedom of 3.1 million slaves in the confederate states of America. This infuriated the south and made them fight even harder. -

After Richmond Lees troops were surrounded and on April 7 Grant told lee to surrender. Then two days later The two met at Appomattox Courthouse and they both agreed to end the war. -
The Assassination of Abraham Lincoln
After the war Lincoln wanted to take a night out, so h did. He went to the Fords Theater in Washington DC with his wife. The play has started and half way through it John wilks Booth makes his way up to the box where Lincoln is sitting. John pulls out his gun and and shoot the president in the back of the head.
