  • The Sugar Act

    The Sugar Act
    The Sugar Act was an act passed on April 5 1765.It said that sugar molasses or syrups will be heavily taxed. Also the colonists could not brew rum in the colonies.
  • The Quartering Act

    The Quartering Act
    The Quartering Act was to make the colonists provide food and shelter for the solders.Also the colonists had to give them water to drink. The solders could just walk in and demand to be fed and provided a house.
  • The Stamp Act

    The Stamp Act
    The Stamp Act said that any thing that was a paper good was stamped. The stamps cost money and had to be given out by a stamp collector. Being a stamp collector was a very bad job because your house got smashed by stones.
  • The Townshend Act

    The Townshend Act
    The Townsend act was passed so any solder can go into any house. This was to search anything to look for illegal goods. The solders would rip through the house and not clean up
  • The Tea Act

    The Tea Act
    The Tea Act said that the only tea to get to the colonies was from the East India company. The East India company charged too much for the tea. The East India company was a extention of the government.
  • Boston Port Act

    Boston Port Act
    The Boston Port Act was passed to stop the people of Boston or other ships from going on or docking at the Boston Port without permission. This was unfair to the colonists because they were getting goods and other things from France, Holland, and the Dutch. Also the colonists could could not go to the shore or Harbor of Boston.
  • Government Act and the Administration of justice act

    Government Act and the Administration of justice act
    The Acts said any meeting cannot be called without the leave of the Governer. Any capitol offence will be held in another colone or in great Britan. This means that the colonists could not go to each other for help.
  • Quebec Act

    Quebec Act
    The Quebec act was to expand the area of Quebec. Also the act was to tax more people. Finally the people of Quebec would suffer more.
