In 1325 they made the city tenochtitlan was built by the aztecs. Which is actually built on water and sinks two inches every year. Because they were told when you see a bird with a snake in its mouth build there they saw on top of a lake. -

In 1376-1395 the first king. There was many kings after him though. The king was the ruler of the empire and all the people. Acamapichtli was the first king. -

In 1427 the sunstone was made and put into the Tenochtitlan. This is basically their calendar. Which is even more accurate then the one we use today. -

Great Aztec Ruler
In 1440 Itzcoatl reigns as ruler. Which his father did before him. He was a very good ruler for the aztecs. -

The Stone of Tizoc
In 1485 the stone of Tizoc is carved despite the king Tizoc shooting the warriors.The tribes in mexico like the olmec and the aztecs made amazing statues. The aztecs statues were normally put in there empire. -

New Found Land
In 1492 Christopher Columbus landing at santo domingo. Christopher Columbus was a big part in finding land for Mexico like the aztecs. Some of the Mexican leaders gave him money for him and his crew to sail and explore lands. -

Cortes Comes to Aztec Empire
In 1519 Hernan Cortes comes to the aztec empire. The leader thinks he is going to come peacefully.But he was coming to take over the city. -

Sickness Spreads
In 1521 Hernan Cortes lead the spanish attack to take the aztec empire. His people got everyone in the empire sick. Then took the empire of tenochtitlan for him and his men. Most of them were died but a couple of them were still alive. -

The End of the Aztecs
In 1525 the aztec king was gone after Hernan Cortes and his men got everyone sick. This was the last aztec king and this was the end of the aztecs living in the empire.
