    It occurred on October 2, 1835. It was a battle between the rebellious Texans and the Mexican army troops. It was the first military engagement in the Texas Revolution.

    It occurred on October 28, 1835. It was fought between the rebellious Texans and the Mexican army. The Texans won and this victory really pushed them for their independence and freedom.
  • The Battle of the Alamo

    The Battle of the Alamo
    It occurred from February 23, 1836 to March 6, 1836. It was fought between the Texans and Mexicans. Even though they lost the battle, it encouraged them to continue to fight and not let the effort, of all the Texans who died that day, go to waste.
  • Runaway Scrape

    It occurred between March 11, 1836 to April 21, 1836. It was when the Texans were running away from the Mexican army. This was a time period during the Texas Revolution when the Texans were very panicked and frightened about the Mexican army, which is why they ran away from the Mexicans as quickly as they could. Many houses and other objects got burned down to prevent Santa Anna from getting any benefit from it.

    It occurred on March 19 - 20, 1836. It was fought between the Texans and the Mexicans. The battle showed that even though the Texans were greatly outnumbered, they fought against the Mexicans since they are very determined to get their independence/freedom.

    It occurred on March 27, 1836. It was between the Texans and Mexicans. The Goliad Massacre generated more American support for the Texans. The massacre showed that Texans would do about anything to gain their freedom.
