    The Battle of Gonzales took place on October 2, 1835, when Texan settlers refused to give the Mexicans their cannon back. It was fought between Texan settlers in Gonzales and Mexican army troops at a Mexican camp. This battle had an impact on the revolution because it was the first battle of the Texas Revolution, also with the fact that the settlers were able to hold out long enough for the Mexican forces to withdraw.

    This battle was fought on October 28 1835 at the Concepcion mission when 400 Mexican soldiers would advance to and surround the mission. This battle was fought between 92 Texans and 400 Mexican soldiers, and the Texans ended up winning with close to no casualties. This battle had an impact on the Texas Revolution because the Texans ended up winning and only lost one man, even though the Mexicans had four times the men.

    The Siege of Bexar was fought in October 28, 1835 through December 9, 1835 at the San Antonio River and at San Antonio de Bexar. The first part of the battle was fought at the San Antonio River on October 28 between Bowie & his men and a large Mexican force, with the victory of the Texans. On December 9, the Texans would succeed with the siege of San Antonio de Bexar and capture San Antonio. This battle had an impact on the Texas Revolution because the Texans won all the battles and took over SA

    Travis' Letter
    Travis' Letter was sent out on February 24, 1836, when William Travis would request for help during the battle he was in. According to the letter, it says that the battle was fought between William Travis & his men and Santa Anna & 1000 or more Mexican soldiers. This letter had an impact on the Texas Revolution because the letter stated that he and his men has received continual attacks for 24 hours and have not lost a men, and the end of the letter shows the determination to win.

    The Battle of the Alamo was fought February 23, 1836 through March 6, 1836. It was fought between 189 Texans and over 4000 Mexican soldiers, with the unfortunate defeat of the Texans. This battle had an impact on the revolution because it would inspire more men to fight back, and more men would join to help in the revolution.

    The Battle of Coleto Creek was fought March 19 1836 through March 20 1836. It was fought between James Fannin & his 400 men and General Jose de Urrea & his 700-1000 men, with the Texans having to surrender. After Fannin and his men were captured, they were all massacred, and there were only a few survivors. This battle had an impact on the revolution because upon the aftermath of the battle, many people would view Santa Anna as a cruel leader.
