Battle at Gonzales
Mexican troops went to Gonzales to try to remove cannons from the Texans. The Texans came up with a plan and wrote "Come and Take it" on a white flag to show the Mexican Army that they were ready. Texans won the battle. -
Battle at Goliad
Texans attack Mexican troops and win the battle. Once Mexican troops left, the Texans took food and supplies. -

Golliad Massacre
After Texans surrender, Santa Anna directed his troops to execute 400 Texas troops. This made the Texans even more angry. -
Battle of San Jacinto
Sam Houston led his troops to San Jacinto to suprise attack Santa Anna and his troops. Houston's victory led to Santa Anna's Surrender. -
Texas' Independence
The treaties of Velasco are signed and Texas gains its independece from Mexico
