    The Battle of the Alamo was a pivotal point in the Texas Revolution. The Mexicans, under control of Santa Anna came to the Alamo and killed around 185 Texan soldiers. The Texan soldiers killed about 600 Mexican soldiers.

    The Texans were assembled in asquare that was attacked by the Mexican men. The left side was confronted by rifle companies under Morales, while the right side of the sqaure was assaulted by grenadiers and part of the San Luis Battalion.

    On Palm Sunday, Fannin's men were marched onto Bexar Road, San Patricio Road, and the Victoria Road, and were shot point blank.. Any survivors were clubbed and knifed to death. Fannin was the last to die, and he asked that he be shot in the heart and not the face, give his belongings to his family, and give him a proper christian burial. The Mexicans did the exact opposite.
