Santa Anna had 5,000 men in this invasion. The battle was fought in San Antonio. The men of Goliad lost and died as they were taken as prisoners and shot on an open prairie on Palm Sunday. -
Battle of San Jacinto
Texas sent Deaf Smith, a spy, to cut off the bridge which was Mexico's only escape since this was going to be a surprise attack. On the morning of the 21st the army was ordered to attack. They yelled out "Remember Goliad!" and "Remember The Alamo!". 700 Mexicans were killed and 730 were taken prisoner. -

Battle of Galveston - the Bayou City
The people of Galveston Island had to surrender to William B. Renshaw who was taking over the island. The Confederate Cotton Clads led by Major General John B. Magruder attacked the Union members trying to take the Island. The Confederates recaptured it in the end.
