    Laws passed to stop settlers from coming to Mexico and all importation of goods to Mexico was halted.

    Settlers met in the town of San Felipe, to appoint Stephen Austin the conventions president and to ask the Mexican Government to allow immigration of American settlers, and to lift the tax on imports.

    Texas declares its independence from Mexico, and writes a constitution much like the USA constitution.

    32 rebels respond to Travis' letter and help hold off Santa Ann's army for 13 days. Santa Anna is victorious at the Alamoon March 6 after his troops stormed the compound, and bruettily kills all of the Texan rebels there.

    300 men were executed at Goliad by a mexican general obeying Santa Anna's orders.
  • Battle of San Jacinto

    General Houstons force lunches an surprise attack on Santa Anna's army, and is victorious. Houston's amy won saying the fraise " remember the Alamo". Santa Anna Surendered, Texas had won. Treaty of Velasco signed.
  • Texas an Independent nation

    Texas has its first election, Houston is there nations first president. Texas was also in favor of annexation to the US.
  • Texas Becomes a state

    Texas enters the Union as the 28th state
