    The battle only lasted 20 minutes but the Texans kept killing Santa Anna's troops. The Texans attacked Santa Anna's and his troops and captured them including santa Anna himself. They then killed over 700 members of Santa Anna's troops. The Texans made Santa Anna sign the Treaty of Velasco after they captured him.
