    Slavery is a system in which principles of property law are applied to people, allowing individuals to own, buy and sell other individuals, as a form of property. The two main races that were affected by slavery was African Americans and Whites, African Americans were taken from their country and brought here by Whites to do manual labor for them for over 240 years.It had originated in the 1620s in North America,and that it lasted until 1865 after the Civil War abolished slavery.

This particular Supreme Court case was a very notable one, and it led to segregation ending in year 1965.
