My SMART Goal
When I get my check from work, I will put 3/4 of it into my savings account to help spend for college and keep the other 1/4 in my checking for spending on myself. -
To get the pay check first
On the 5th and 20th of every month, I go to work , Dairy Queen, and get my pay check from my boss, Erin. -
Bank
On the same day I go to Wells Fargo, either the one on Cave Creek and Tatum or the other one on Scottsdale and Carefree. When I go to the bank I deposit the whole check into my checking account -
Filling up the truck
A day after I deposit my check, I go to Cirlce K on Tatum and Cave Creek to fill up my truck. I do that because I know that I have enough money in my checking so I can use credit. -
Transfers
I get onto my phone or laptop and go to Wells Fargo. On there I go to my checking account and transfer three-fourths of the newly deposited check into my savings. -
18th Birthday
on my 18th birthday, I meet up with an acoountant at Wells Fargo to set up own accounts and we talk about the savings plans. -
Graduation Day
I graduate from Cactus Shadow HS and get ready to go to NAU. From the past year and a few months, I would have saved over 2500 dollars from work. This would help pay for my tuition. -
College Starts
On August 22nd, I will be starting my first class at NAU -
College Graduation
I graduate from NAU, still working at Dairy Queen and from when I graduted highschool, I have saved over 9500 dollars. At this time I quit Dairy Queen and go get a full-time job as a fire fighter.
