Bonfire
My friends and I had a big end of the year bonfire where we kicked off our summers. We were so happy school was out so we burnt all our papers and books from freshman year. -
JMB Camp
I was a camp counselor for the Junior Marine Biologist camp at Loggerhead Marinelife Center. We taught the kids about the marine life and habitats in Florida. I want to be a marine biologist so this was a fun way to spend some of my summer. -
Dolphin Research Center
Every summer I go spend some time down in the keys working at the Dolphin Research Center. My friend and I spend about a week working as the trainers, vets, and researchers at the facility and I get to see what it's like to work in that field. This is probably my favorite time of the summer. -
West Coast Trip
I flew to Oregon to spend about three and a half weeks on the West Coast. I stayed in Newberg, Oregon for 10 days with my cousins. We went to Canon Beach, Three Pools, and Portland. -
Three Pools
In the mountains in Oregon, there is a place where the stream flows into these 3 mini lakes that is called Three Pools. Its so pretty, and when my cousins heard that cliff jumping was on my bucket list, we drove there just to go cliff jumping. -
Vancouver, Washington
After spending time in Oregon, I drove to Vancouver, WA to see my other cousins. I spent a few days hanging out with them. The only thing we went and did there was go to Wild Waves, which is a waterpark/amusement park in Federal Way, WA. -
Lynden, Washington
The last place I stayed was Lynden, Washington, and I was there for 12 days. The cousins I was staying with there are 3 and 6 so I ended up babysitting them and taking them places while my aunt and uncle went out. -
One Direction Concert
I saved up and bought front row tickets for my cousin and I to go to the One Direction concert in Seattle, Washington. We spent the day in Seattle and then went to the concert. -
Canada
My family lives 2 miles from the border and after the 3rd year of going to their house, they finally took me to Canada. -
Tampa
We drove over to Tampa to visit the Clearwater Marine Aquarium. I wanted to go because I hadnt seen Winter, the dolphin without a tail, yet. My cousin from Indiana was also with us and she had never been to Florida so we wanted to show her the West Coast of Florida.
