Landmark legislation. Added new categories of disabilities such as brain injury and autism. -
The Idea Amendments of 1997
Changed structure of IDEA, redefined the IEP team. -
IDEA Improvement Act of 2004
Added RTI model for addressing gifted students. and changes to the IEP
