The move
I moved to Gilbert, Arizona from Peoria, Arizona the first week of July 2010. I hated moving at first but now I have come to call this place my home. It was hard leaving my friends behind but ultimately I'm glad that we made the decision to move here. -
Meeting Ty Detmer
Ty Detmer was doing a quarterback camp two summers ago on our turf field and I was able to participate in it. I got to meet Ty and get coached up by him. He was a great quarterback in college, playing at BYU and eventually playing pro ball. -
My first serious injury
This was the night of our preseason green and copper scrimage where I shattered the growth plate at the top of my right humerus. My season was over before it began. -
Catalina Island
That weekend me and a bunch of people from my church went on a huge retreat to Catalina Island off the coast of California!! It was so much fun and to this day we still talk and joke about the trip. Hopefully one day Ill be able to go back and visit. -
Serious injury #2
It was our 2nd game of the season, I made a tackle and hit the guy with the ball wrong. My left arm got trapped behind his leg and someone came flying in with their knee full speed and snapped my arm in half! Luckily I only missed three games!
