Fetal Stage
Starts from around the ninth week of pregnancy and goes until birth.
The fetus begins to kick the uterus and it can be felt by the mother.
By month seven, the baby is able to function on it's own and outside the uterus, with special help.
The fetus begins to gain weight rapidly in order to maintain a healthy body temp.
During month eight the baby sleeps 90% of the time, and can even sometimes dream.
During month nine the baby moves into fetal position in order to prepare for delivery. -
