In this online class you will learn some real useful tips for creating an amazing interactive smart notebook activity that you can do with your students in class or share with them as a lab activity. You will be learning how to do the following: PULL TABS, MAGIC TUNNEL, RANDOM GENERATOR and CHECKER TOOL. You wil then create a smart norebook activity that features all of the above and sunbit for others to share! -

Every so often an amazing tool comes along in education for both instruction and student involvement. This wonderful tool is Smart Notebook Software. In this 4 hr, 2 on campus class you will learn all of the basics of using smart notebook for instruction, sharing and storing. You will also see many examples of how it also be used as a project tool of choice for students. You need no prior knowledge of this tool for this class. It is recommended for beginners and intermediate users -

Learning American History Through American Art
Works of art communicate deliberate ideas and feelings of the artist. Considering works of art within a given culture can reveal important aspects of its character, ideals, values and history. This 4-day course will help us understand aspects of our American heritage through American art.
The course takes its inspiration from a National Endowment for the Humanities project called Picturing America which uses some of the nation’s most iconic artistic images as a way to understand America -
Word 2007 Intermediate: Review Tab
This class will focus on using the various features available on the Review Tab in Word 2007. These features include: inserting comments into a document, tracking the changes made within a document and having Word 2007 compare two documents.
Participants will have time to practice the material covered in class.
