    Board of Education v. Rowley
https://supreme.justia.com/cases/federal/us/458/176/ This court case found that a Free Appropriate Public Education requires that children with disabilities be given support services to meet their educational needs. However, in this case parents requested that their daughter be given a sign-language instructor, even though she was not falling behind and progressing class to class with ease. The courts upheld that the school district was not required to provide a sign-language instructor.
