FERPA

This law ensures that all students who are suspected of having a disability are evaluated at no cost to families. If this child is found to have a disability they must be provided also free of cost. -

The ultimate ruling in this case ensure that education for all handicapped children act was a no reject policy, stating that all children no matter how severe or profound are allowed to education. -

This Act is a change to the Education for All Handicapped Children Act. This Act added that any services to students with disabilities should be provided in the least restrictive environment. -

The Americans with Disabilities Act extends basic civil rights to Americans with disabilities. It ensured that all public facilities provide accommodations for all people with disabilities. -

This Act required all students be held accountable for student success. It required routine assessments be implemented to evaluate academic skills in a standard way.
