First General Education Law

This act ensured the education of children facing mental and physical disabilities. The law says that public schools must provide special needs children with the same opportunities as other children. -
Federal Tribal College Act
The federal tribal college act ensures a community college on tive American reservations. This locals are able to receive an education without leaving so far from home. -
Individuals with Disabilities Education Act
This act is the modification of the original act, "Education for All Handicapped Children Act." The modification allows for students with disabilities to receive an education in the least restrictive environment as possible. -
Undocumented Immigrants and Education
In California a law is passed making it illegal for children of undocumented immigrants to get an education. However, it was itutional. -
No Child Left Behind
This is a requirement for public schools which state that each school is responsible for the learning of all its students. This translates to routine assessments. This law was meant to encourage schools to create progress in special need students.
