Public Law 94-142: The Education for All Handicapped Children Act of1975
This law enables students with disabilities to recieve FAPE (Free Appropriate Public Education). It also protects the rights of students with disabilities and makes sure states are going to appropriate lengths to give these students the proper education that they deserve.

Board of Ed. of Hendrick Hudson Central School Dist. v. Rowley 458 U.S. 176 (1982)
This case was the first to interpret the Education for All Handicapped Children Act. The conclusion of the case was that a student could be provided with services that allowed them to recieve educational benefits from their intruction, not to reach their full potential.

Cedar Rapids Community School District v. Garret F
This case law made it so students with disabilities that require a nurse can have one with them throughout the school day and it would be provided by the school. This is because the court determined it did not fall under Medical Services because it's a nurse not a doctor. It falls under supportive services by the school.

No Child Left Behind Act
This law allows all children to recieve an equal education and meet minimum state requirements on assessments. It is geared toward disadvantaged children to close the achievment gap between them and their peers.

Individuals with Disabilities Education Improvement Act of 2004
There were provisions added to IDEA which included that if a parent did not consent to their child recieving an evaluation then the school could not move forward.
