FAPE
FAPE is the terms used to describe the educational rights of children with disabilities in the United States. This right is guaranteed by the Rehabilitation Act of 1973 and the Individuals with Disabilities Education Act (IDEA.) A free appropriate public education is provided at no cost to parents. Education for All Handicapped Children Act
The first special education law directed at students with physical and mental disabilities. The law stated that public schools must provide children with special needs with the same opportunities for education as other children. The Handicapped Children’s Protection Act

Individuals with Disabilities Education Act
The Individuals with Disabilities Education Act, or IDEA, is a modification of the Education for All Handicapped Children Act.

The Assistive Technology Act
