    Mariner 6 is the twin to Mariner 7. It was launched on February 4th, 1969. Mariner 6 helped take pictures of over 20% of mars surface!

    The twin to Mariner 6, Mariner 7 was launched on March 27 later that year. Together, they took over 150 photos and 50 close ups of Mars. It helped scientists learn many things about the atmosphere of Mars.

    This space invention by Canada is by far the best invention Canada made for is space exploration in the 20th century. Actually, this invention is named Shuttle Remote Manipulator System. A cool fact is that fixed it the Hubble telescope and knocked ice off the fuselage of the Orbiter.

    Mars sojourner rover: July 4th, 1997: The mars sojourner rover (often just referred to the mars rover) is a nifty little rover on mars. It weighs 10.6 kg and has 6 wheels. It takes pictures and sends them back to earth. It was the first rover to land on mars.

    Canadarm2: April 19, 2001: A more advanced version of the original Canadarm, this 17 meter is an accessory to the international space station. It has helped construct the ISS and now shifted to maintaining it.

    Spirit is a rover that left for mars on June 10, 2003. Spirit is the twin to Opportunity, another 6 wheeled solar powered robot. They stand 1.5 metres high and both have helped take photos of rocks. Spirits last communications with Earth was in 2009.

  • Oppurtunity

    Oppurtunity
    Oppurtunity is the twin to Spirit and launched 3 weeks after it. It landed on the opposite side of mars only 6 days after Spirit. They still have communications with the rover.
