A rocket lands in Ohio in the winter, but causes a massive heat wave like summer. -

Ylla starts having visions about a man coming to her planet. Her husband gets mad and goes to kill the man when he lands on Mars. -

The Earth Men
Astronaughts landed on Mars and started talking to the people that lived there. They were than put into and insane asylum. The captain than kills the crew and himself. -
The Taxpayer
Pritchards a regular citizen but begs to leave and go to Mars because of the atom war and thinks it'll be safer. -
The Third Expedition
More astronauts come to Mars. One of them realizes that they're being tricked and tries to save the others but dies. Than the others die, the Martians than hold a funeral for the dead Earth men. -

A fourth expedition is sent to Mars, where they find that the Martians were killed by chicken pox. Then Spender started killing the crew except for the captain, who agreed, preserve the old Martian planet. -
The Settlers
More and more are going to mars, even the gov't supported it. People started getting The Loneliness missing all their lives on Earth. -
The Green Morning
Benjamin Driscoll and many other people are having issues because of how thin the air is. He gets the idea to start terraforming Mars basically. -

People were flocking to Mars, at the time 90,000 were living there. -

Tomas Gomez is out to a party and meets Muhe Ca. They realize neither of them are really there but instead they're both from different times. -

It explained how the first people were on Mars and how more could've come but were consumed in war. -
The Fire Balloons
Some missionaries went to Mars to wash it of its sins. They find a race of blue floating Martians and they save Father Peregine. They then form a religion around them. -

The Earth people on Mars start to make their own Earth cities and towns. -
The Musicians
Some boys from Earth have mad it a game to go into the deserted but yet not cleared Martian towns. They kick the dead bodies playing music off the hollow skulls and ribcages. They realize they must leave becuse the Firemen are coming to burn the bodies fully and burry them. -

The Naming of Names
People on Earth are making Mars like Earth was. Naming things after the first expedition crews. They're adapting Mars to them, not adapting themselves to Mars. -
Usher II
William Stendahl builds the house of Usher II to recreate the original because there's a committe that has banned all literature like Edgar Allen Poe. One of the officials from the committe investigates this and William kills him then kills all the other officials that come but they house is still destroyed. -
The Silent Towns
Walter Gripp one of the only left on Mars is fine with being a lone but begins wanting some company. A phone rings and initially he thought he was hearing things but answered one time. The person he answered the phone to was Genevieve Selsor who wants to get married. They meet and he realizes she's definitely not the one for him. -
The Luggage Store
Father Peregrine and the store clerk agree all the people currently on Mars will want to go back to Earth when bombs start dropping. -
The Off Season
Sam Parkhill just set up a hot dog stand but some Martians were bugging him. He shot one of them and ran away but they caught up to him, and gave him a large plot of land. That night however the war begins on Earth. -
The Watchers
Nuclear war starts on Earth. Australia blows up as premature explosion, then U.S. and London are bombed. -
The Long Years
Hathaway from the fourth expidition is still alive with his family on Mars. He notices rocket and gets it to land nearby. Captain Wilder is on the rocket and the two are happy to see each other. The captain and his crew are over for dinner when one of the crew members notices Hathaways family hasnt aged except for him. They remember seeing a grave site and go check. They're right about them being robots but then Hathaway dies. They bury him and leave the robotic family. -
There Will Come Soft Rains
A random futuristic house continues doing its daily task even without humans. The dog comes and dies because it's not being taken care of. -
The Million Year Picnic
The few humans left on Earth go to Mars to start a new life.
