  • My Dads and Step-moms Divorce

    When I was about 9 I lived with my dad and Step mom. One random day I was informed that they would no longer be staying together, meaning they were getting a divorce. This influenced me because it showed me that even tho things can look perfect on the outside they are not so perfect on the inside. The agent of Socialization was family.

  • My Mom and Step-Dads Wedding

    I was only 11 when my mom decided to re-marry. My mom and step dad had been dating for four years and they finally decided to tie the knot. This influenced me by showing me that it is possible to love again after a messy relationship you may have had in the past. The agent of socialization was Family.

  • My Step-moms passing

    When I was 10 I would still visit my step mom on holidays after the divorce. I learned on March 25,2019 that she had lost her battle to Lyme's disease because it had triggered ALS that ran in her family. This influenced me by making me realize that there is good in every situation regardless of the pain u endure. The agent of socialization was Family.

  • COVID

    I was still 11 when we were first quarantined. Coronavirus had made everything shut down and go out of business. Meaning no school, jobs, and other important priorities for people to survive had all closen. This influenced me by teaching me to find new ways to not be bored without technology and also helped me create closer and stronger bonds with my family. The agent of socialization was Family/Environment.

  • Getting Three dogs

    Me, my parents, and my siblings were all very bored due to quarantine. One random day my parents said they were gonna be going out of town for a concert, when they came back they had one dog. We were so happy but then we were told there was gonna be two more. This influenced me by proving that even in the worst situations you can still find hope and happiness. The agent of socialization is Family.

  • My dad moved downstate

    I was 12 my dad had finally made the decision to move from the U.P. to where we are now. This influenced me by making me realize that people will do anything for the ones they love. The agent of influence was Family.
