    Simon Bolivar was born in Caracas, Venezuela. His full name was Simón José Antonio de la Santísima Trinidad Bolívar Palacios Ponte y Blanco. His mother was María de la Concepción Palacios y Blanco, and his father was Juan Vicente Bolívar y Ponte.
