Physical-Baby teeth are still falling out making space for their permanent teeth
Emotional-Peer acceptance becomes important
Intellectual-Develop complex sentence and learn to speak better.
Cognitive-They are very curious and ask a lot of questions. -

8 year olds
Physical- They can completely dress and groom themselves
Emotional-Becomes more balanced in coping with frustration, failure, and disappointment
Intellectual-Begins to recognize concept of reversibility
Cognitive-They begin to understand the concept of money and counting it -

9 year olds
Physical- Begin to have stronger and smoother muscle control(signs of puberty)
Emotional-May insist on having own way but is able to listen to reason
Intellectual- Start learning about fractions and geometry.
Cognitive-will work on word problems that require analytical and logical thinking -

10 year olds
Physical-they are very capable of running, jumping, dribbling, crawling and climbing.
Emotional-They will want to be more independent, demand privacy, take things said to the heart.
Intellectual-Start using correct tenses, more in-depth, and mature conversations.
Cognitive- will show great analytical ability. -

11 year olds
Physical- Start to have a growth spurt and signs of puberty
Emotional-Begins to question authority figures
Intellectual-begins to realize that there are multiple ways to look at a piece of information, situation, or issue
Cognitive-Exhibits an increased attention span, but often rapid changing of interests -

12 year olds
Physical-Begins to show signs of puberty, including menstruation in girls and muscular development in boys
Emotional-Starts to be rebellious
Intellectual-They are able to think beyond literal interpretations, and proverbs and idioms
Cognitive- able to understand and apply logic to situations and problems
