    This is the time I learned to walk. I could now go anywhere I wanted, to a point, and I opened up a whole new world of possibilities.

    When I was two, I broke my leg being a terrible two-year-old. This shaped my identity however, by allowing me to overcome adversity, and still do the things I wanted to do. I did everything as if I didn't have a broken leg

    This date was important, because it introduced me to school. Never before had I interacted with so many children, and from this I started making new friends.

    This Royal's game opened my eyes to baseball, thus I started playing baseball shortly after this game.

    This time influenced my identity because I had to deal with longer days away from home, as well as having to work on classwork. This made me feel competent in myself and made me a stronger person.

    In elementary school, I loved choir, and I still do to this day. Elementary choir was the choir which sparked my interest for choir. It helped me define myself by music, leading to a happier lifestyle.

    In summer of 2008, I started piano. This influenced my identity because I could now express myself through music. It has become a major part of me, and I feel competent while playing.

    Tennis influenced my identity in many ways. It became part of who I was, and it gives me a rush whenever I play it. It is an absolutely great sport. Tennis allows me to relieve stress, and it provides a basis of who I am. I have met numerous good friends through tennis as well.

    State Music Contest was one of the best days of my life. It helped shape my identity by allowing me to be confident in myself for a vocal solo, a piano solo, and a singing ensemble. I will never forget this day.

    This is a defining moment in my life. I will be transitioning from high school to college, becoming independent. This will be a hard time, because I will be away from my family. This shapes my identity by finding my role in society and following it in college.
