Research About Rooms
First of all before we could start thinking about what rooms mean to us we had to get some feedback from the mind map we did in class -
Paleolothic
They built temporary caves made of big branches covered with fur. The rooms were very simple and humble because they had to move frequently and they didn’t have all the necessary materials. Furthermore, the rooms had a lot of paintings in the wall and symbols that represent themselves. They weren’t really comfortable rooms either. -
Mesolithic
The rooms were in huts near the river made of wood and branches. The rooms were also modest but they had some craved stone objects. -
Neolithic
The rooms were built in platforms supported on wooded poles. The rooms were also simple but more comfortable. -
Middle Ages
-The Rooms on the Ground Floor were a kitchen and storeroom
-The rooms on the First Floor housed the Great Hall (optional - would only be built if the location was of significant political or military importance and semi-permanent occupation of the castle was envisioned)
-The Rooms on the Top floor housed the Lord's apartments -

Futuristic Rooms
Futuristic rooms can be really different to what we are used to. They probably will be high-tech. We can imagine them by seeing movies or just by creating them with our imagination. They would be really simple but full of screens and laptops and computers. If we are lucky enough we will have a robot that will help us in our daily tasks.
