Ensure the students are ready to learn and that you are presenting interesting and stimulating information to gain their attention. -
Inform learners of the objective
Make sure that you explain the objective of the lesson, the class or even the day in a clear way to allow the students to follow along and know what is expected of them. -

Try and relate current lessons to lessons that they may have learned in the past. This will allow the lesson to reasonate with the students. -

Using different methods teachers present the lesson that was stated in the above objective. Teacher's will present this material in different ways to accomodate the different learning styles of each student -

Using examples, different learning strategies, and providing instructional support to help students grasp the objective presented. -
Ellicit Performance
Allow students to connect new information in real world learning environments as well as allow them to practice recall, recognition and revisit the information presented. -
Provide Feedback
Provide feedback of the student's performance to allow them to examine and reasses the information presented. -
Assess Performance
By using a variety of options see if the student has grasped the objective and concepts presented in step 2. -
