A war against the British vs the Indians and French. The Indians and French fought together against Briatian over land. Long story short the Britsh won and got more land because of it. -
Proclamation of 1763
King George the III following Great Britains acquisition of French territory in North America after the French and Indian War. It basically says that Briatian owns the land. Briatian is very power hungry. -
Sugar Act
Original was about to expire. Pay a tax of six pence per gallon. Pay more taxes! -
Stamp Act
Tax on stamps by the British. More taxes because why not? The colonists were probably pissed. -
Townshend Act
Series of acts passed by the Parliament of Great Britain to tax more items. This was one of the many reasons the colonies hated Britain. One step closer to the revolution. -
Boston Massacre
A street fight between a "patriot" mob, throwing snowballs, stones, and sticks, at a squad of British soiders. -
Tea Act
Final straw in a series of unpopular policies and taxes imposed by Britain. They taxed the tea. It made the colonies mad. -
Boston Tea Party
A political protest by the Sons of Liberty in the Boston. They threw tea into the ocean. No taxation without representation! -
Intolerable Acts
American Patriots' term for a series of punitive laws passed by the British Parliament after the Boston Tea party. Meant as punishment for the Boston Tea party. Basically Britain is mad at the colonies for dumping tea in the harbor. -
Declaration of Independence
Says we are free and independent from Britain. It says that we don't need Braitian anymore and that we are our own country. All of our founding fathers signed it.
