  • French and Indian War

    French and Indian War
    The French and Indian War was also know as the 7 year war. It was fought by the Indians and french against the British. The British were there common enemy. The British always won against the french and always left them with nothing. The Indians wanted nothing to due with them after they settled on there land.
  • Proclamation Line

    Proclamation Line
    This is an image of the proclamation line from 1763. This line was not allowed to be crossed because beyond this line was the Indians territory. The line was drawn at the edge of the appellation mountains and anyone who crossed it was to be shot on sight.
  • Stamp Act

    This is a picture of one of the stamps used in the stamp act of 1765. The stamp act was used for everything that had to be printed from newspapers to dice. This act forced people to pay taxes on their favorite things in life like playing cards and books.
  • Troops sent to Boston as Military Police

    Troops sent to Boston as Military Police
    In 1768 British troops were sent to Boston to be a military police force. They were their to ensure that taxes were payed and to gather them as needed. They however were very brutal.
  • Boston Massacre

    Boston Massacre
    The Boston Massacre was one heck of a bloody mess. Innocents were killed by British solders because the British had no place. The people threw things such as rocks and clubs but that did very little to them. However the guns the British carried could kill and did kill a count of 5 men.
  • Tea Act

    Tea Act
    The Tea Act of 1773 was caused due to the Boston tea party. This act closed down the ports meaning no more trading or bringing in goods. The only tea that there was, was the kings tea and it was that or nun at all.
  • Lexington and Concord

    Lexington and Concord
    Lexington and Concord was the very beginning of the revolution. Lexington fell hard that day but concord made it worth it. Concord followed the British and commenced a sneak attack on them taking a few as they tried to flee. There 1,000 to 800 was just the right amount for an ambush and they chased them a ways before they pulled back and retreated.
