Treaty of Paris
The Treaty of Paris was signed in Paris by representatives of King George III of Great Britain. -
Proclamation Act
The British issued a proclamation, mainly intended to conciliate the Indians by checking the encroachment of settlers on their lands. -

Added new taxes on imports of paper, paint, lead, glass, and tea. -

A day where a riot broke out leading the troops to fire on the mob, killing several people. -

A paper to keep colonists informed of British anticolonial actions and to plan colonial resistance or countermeasures. -

Written by Thomas Jefferson telling the British of their independence.
